MS Power BI on-premises data gateway September 2021 update is now available
Microsoft announced last week that they have released the September update for the On-premises data gateway (version 3000.96.1) of MS Power BI.
This is especially relevant for users of TIBCO Data Virtualization that want to use MS Power BI to connect to TIBCO Data Virtualization using Kerberos-based Single Sign-On, as it has been a long anticipated feature by TIBCO Data Virtualization users!
To use this feature, log into your Power BI account, and navigate to the Gateway management page. Add a new data source under the gateway cluster you want to use, and select the connector in the “Data Source Type” list. Expand the “Advanced Settings” section and select the option to “Use SSO via Kerberos for DirectQuery queries”
