These terms apply to all trainings, workshops and certification events of Connected Data Academy, part of Connected Data Group B.V.

1. Registration

Registration takes place via the registration form on our website or by email to academy@connecteddatagroup.nl.
After registration you receive a confirmation by email. With this the registration is final.
Placement is on a first-come, first-served basis. If the training is full, you will be informed and placed on the waiting list for the next edition.

2. Prices and payment

All prices listed are exclusive of 21% VAT, unless stated otherwise.
After registration you receive an invoice. Payment must be made within 14 days of the invoice date, but in any case before the start of the training.
In case of late payment, CDG reserves the right to deny the participant access to the training.
Payment is possible by bank transfer or on invoice (for business customers).

What is included:

Training materials and course manual
Lunch and refreshments at classroom trainings (unless stated otherwise)
Certificate of attendance or professional development

Not included (unless stated otherwise):

Travel and accommodation costs
Exam fees for external certifications (DAMA International, Genesee Academy)
Books and reference materials (included for some trainings, see the training page)

3. Cancellation by participant

Up to 30 days before the start: cancel free of charge.
15 to 30 days before the start: 50% of the course fee is due.
Less than 15 days before the start or no-show: 100% of the course fee is due.
A replacement participant may always be registered free of charge.
Cancellation must be made in writing by email to academy@connecteddatagroup.nl.

4. Cancellation or rescheduling by CDG

CDG reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a training in case of insufficient registrations or force majeure.
You will be informed about this at the latest 14 days before the scheduled start.
You will be offered an alternative date or a full refund of the course fee.
CDG is not liable for any consequential costs (travel, accommodation, lost income).

5. Certification and exams

DAMA CDMP certifications:

Exam registration is arranged by the Academy after completion of the training.
Exam fees are included with the Fundamentals training; for specialist trainings, exams are taken separately during a Certification Event.
Resit fees are 250 EUR per exam (directly with DAMA International).
Minimum waiting time between exam attempts: 48 hours.
CDMP certifications are valid for 3 years.

CDVDM certification (Genesee Academy):

The certification exam is online proctored, closed-book, 2.5 hours.
One free resit is included.
Results are announced within 4-6 weeks.

CBCM certification (Genesee Academy):

The certification exam is part of the two-day training.

Other trainings:

Upon successful completion you receive a professional development certificate from Connected Data Academy.

6. Intellectual property

All training materials (presentations, handouts, exercises, online content) are the property of CDG or its licensors.
Materials are intended exclusively for personal use by the participant.
It is not permitted to copy, distribute or disclose training materials without prior written consent.

7. Liability

CDG endeavours to deliver high-quality trainings, but cannot guarantee passing an exam or certification.
The liability of CDG is limited to the course fee paid.
CDG is not liable for damage to or loss of participants' property during trainings.

9. Complaints

Do you have a complaint about a training? Please contact us within 14 days after completion via academy@connecteddatagroup.nl. We aim to handle complaints within 10 working days.

10. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these training terms. The General Terms and Conditions of Connected Data Group B.V. also apply to the agreement.
